Happy Halloween from Pets Path Home!

Safeguard your Pets
We all know Halloween is intended to delightfully scare us with costumes, masks, and BOO!s from behind. Some pets think nothing of it, but others often see it as real and threatening.

Pets can feel anxious and agitated from dozens of visitors in strange clothing carrying strange objects. Pets left outside are extremely vulnerable and prime targets for mischief-makers and often run away in fear and confusion.

Keep pets inside during Halloween, preferably in a quiet room with their belongings. Play soft music to help minimize outside sounds. You will be thankful knowing your pets are safe and secure.
Sweets & Treats
Sweets can be very toxic to pets, especially chocolate. Cover bowls of candy or keep in tupperware, and place them out of reach from pets. Also keep small items (wrappers, string, plastic, etc.) away from pets - they can choke or damage their internal organs if swallowed.

Pumpkins
A lit pumpkin can be intriguing to a pet, but can also burn whiskers or get knocked over if investigated. Use caution when choosing a display area for your pumpkins.
