PASS THE "FRESH" CHIPS, PLEASE!
Have you ever grabbed a bag of chips or crackers that had been opened and exposed to the air for awhile and discovered they tasted stale, bland, or just plain odd? Can you imagine eating those every day?? Bleck!!
Well, your pet's kibble is the same. Certain ingredients help keep kibble fresh and palatable if stored properly. Do your pet a favor and keep their kibble in a tightly closed container. You can buy a plastic lidded container at a pet store, hardware store, variety store, or even the dollar store. Your pet will thank you!

PET-FRIENDLY GARDENING & SPRING CLEANING
You may have seen the email circulating about Cocoa Mulch, a garden amendment claimed to have a poisonous substance called "Theobromine" that is harmful to pets. Here's the lowdown: www.snopes.com.
The fact is, anything with chemicals in it, whether applied to the ground, your floor, or your carpet is potentially harmful to pets if they directly ingest it or even walk on it and lick their paws. So if you think it may be harmful, don't use it! And seek out alternatives...
Many of today's products are pet-friendly and usually indicate so on the label. You can find out more by Googling "pet-friendly gardening" and "pet-friendly home products". Check labels and keep your pets safe!
