CREATE FLYERS that are highly visible from the road like those shown here using the following font styles:

FONT FACE:       Arial, Times, Garamond BOLD
FONT COLOR:    Black, Red
FONT SIZE:        72 - 130px

LARGE but few words might draw more calls at which time the pet's details can be discussed.

Download free Word-equivalent programs by searching "free word processing programs".

PRINT FLYERS on white or bright-colored flourescent paper and place in upside-down sheet protectors or Ziplocs to prevent weather damage. Save ink by making copies at a local print shop or office supply store.

HANG FLYERS throughout the area the pet was lost/found, public bulletin boards, feed stores, grocery stores, markets, post offices, pet supply stores, groomers, schools, laundry mats, parks, and veterinarians. Ask how long the flyer will remain posted before removal and put a date on the flyer. Restricted areas usually include mailboxes, utility poles, and traffic signs.
