Posting Ads
Currently limited to lost & found pets within El Dorado County (or very near the County line)
Ads are posted within 24 hours (usually less than 8 hours) and subscribers of Paw Alert are notified immediately; therefore, submittal of accurate and sufficient information is advised, though changes to an ad can made at any time (see
FAQ #4). Ads remain posted indefinitely or until Pets Path Home is notified otherwise - ad removal must be requested by the person who placed the ad.

For lost pets, include as much information from the following categories as possible. For found pets, withhold some information that can be used for identification. Attach photos if available: |

- Distinguishing marks, characteristics

EDIT or REMOVE EXISTING AD: Edit, update, remove, add photos, or add a reunion story

| Hang posters that are visible from the road like the one shown here (full size in Word). Click the sample poster to open and edit in MS Word, or
create your own using the following font that can easily be seen from the road:
FONT FACE = Arial Bold
FONT SIZE = 72 - 130px
Print posters on flourescent paper and place in upside-down sheet protectors or Ziplocs to prevent weather damage. If ink is an issue, have copies made at a local print shop or office supply store.
